CAPE TOWN- The Department of Health have recorded 7 more Covid-19 related deaths, bringing the total to 34, while infections are at 2506, an increase of 91.
Health Minister Zweli Mkhize made the announcement at a joint media briefing at the Multichoice headquarters with chairmen of Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates and Deputy Minister of Sports Arts and Culture Nocawe Mafu.
Earlier on Wednesday personal protective equipment was donated by South Africa’s largest football teams, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates. The consignment of goods included, gloves, masks, goggles and shoe protectors.
Mkhize noted that the deaths were recorded over a number of days.
