CAPE TOWN- South Africa has recorded 216 more Covid-19 deaths, bringing the total to 4 669, while cases now stand at 324 221, an increase of 13 172.
Of the latest fatalities, 86 are from Gauteng, 47 from the Western Cape, 25 from the Eastern Cape, 41 from KwaZulu-Natal, 10 from Free State, and 7 from Mpumalanga.
Health minister Zweli Mkhize said the total number recoveries is 165 591, which translates to a recovery rate of 51%.
