CAPE TOWN- South Africa has registered 32 new Covid-19 related deaths bringing the death toll to 643 while the total number of infections is at 30 967, an increase of 1 727 infections.

Health minister Zweli Mkhize said 16 116 people had recovered from the virus.

The number of Covid-19 tests done in the last 24-hours was 21 708 increasing the total number of tests conducted to 701 883.
