CAPE TOWN - South Africa has recorded 39 more Covid-19 related deaths, bringing the total to 15 992, while infections now stand at 661 936 with 725 new cases identified.
Of the latest fatalities, 1 is from KwaZulu-Natal, 9 from Gauteng, 9 from Eastern Cape, 13 and 4 from the Western Cape.
Health minister Zweli Mkhize said recoveries now stand at 591 208 which translates to a recovery rate of 89,3%.
