CAPE TOWN- South Africa has recorded 414 new Covid-19 related deaths, bringing the total to 9 298,
while cases are at529 877, an increase of 8 559.
Of the latest fatalities, 135 are from the Eastern Cape, 45 from Gauteng, 62 from KwaZulu-Natal, 34 from the Western Cape, 16 from Mpumalanga, and 122 from the Free State.
Health minister Zweli Mkhize said the number of recoveries are at 377 266, which translates to a recovery rate of 71%.
