CAPE TOWN- South Africa has registered 60 new Covid-19 related deaths bringing the death toll to 908
while the total number of infections is at
43 434
, an increase of 2 642 infections.
Health minister Zweli Mkhize said seven of the deaths recorded were in Gauteng while 53 were recorded in the Western Cape.
He said 23 088 people had recovered from the virus.
"A total of 850 871 tests have been processed cumulatively of which 30 196 tests have been conducted since the last report," said Mkhize.
