CAPE TOWN- South Africa has recorded 87 more Covid-19 deaths, bringing the total to 2 292, while infections now stand at 118 375, an increase of
6 579.
Of the latest fatalities; 53 are from the Western Cape, 2 from Gauteng,17 are from the Eastern Cape and 15 from KwaZulu Natal.
Health minister Zweli Mkhize said the total number of recoveries is 59 974, which translates to a recovery of 50.7 percent.
