CAPE TOWN- Health minister Zweli Mkhize announced on Tuesday that the number of Covid-19 infections in South Africa have increased by 698, bringing the total to 11,350.
No new deaths were reported, leaving the total at 206.
The number of tests conducted to date are 369,697 with 13,630 done within the past 24 hours.
In celebration of International Nurses Day, Mhkize also saluted South African nurses for their professionalism, dedication and selflessness.
