DURBAN -South Africa has recorded 286 more Covid-19 related deaths, bringing the total number of deaths to 11 556, while cases are 579 140, an increase of 6 275.
Of the latest fatalities, 42 are from the Eastern Cape, 20 in the Free State, 26 from North West, 76 from Gauteng, 54 from KwaZulu-Natal, 22 in Mpumalanga, 28 from the Western Cape and 18 from Northern Cape
Health minister Zweli Mkhize said the total number of recoveries is 461 734, which translates to a recovery rate of 79%.
