CAPE TOWN -South Africa has recorded 195 more Covid-19 related deaths, bringing the total number of deaths to 12 618, while cases are 599 940, an increase of 3 880.
Of the latest fatalities, 26 are from the Eastern Cape, 25 in the Free State, 83 from Gauteng, 36 from KwaZulu-Natal and 13 from the Western Cape.
Health minister Zweli Mkhize said the total number of recoveries is 497 169, which translates to a recovery rate of 82 percent.
