CAPE TOWN- South Africa has recorded 149 more Covid-19 related deaths, bringing the total to13 308, while infections are at 613 017, an increase of 1 567.
Of the latest fatalities, 54 are from Gauteng, 16 from the Eastern Cape, 18 from the Western Cape, 10 from the Northern Cape, 35 from KwaZulu-Natal, and 16 from Mpumalanga.
Health minister Zweli Mkhize said the total number of recoveries is 520 381, which translates to a recovery rate of 84%.
