DURBAN - South Africa now has recorded 121 more Covid-19 related deaths, bringing the total to 14 149, while infections are at 627 041, an increase of 1 985.
Of the latest fatalities, 20 are from Gauteng, 20 from the Eastern Cape, 24 from the Western Cape, 8 from North West, 16 from Free State, 23 from Limpopo, nine from Northern Cape and one from KwaZulu-Natal.
Health minister Zweli Mkhize said the total number of recoveries is 540 923, which translates to a recovery rate of 86%.
