Kinetic Sand
Many children love going to the beach which is not always possible especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. This is a simple and fun way to bring a bit of the beach to your child.
Materials:
• 1 Cup of Play Sand
• 1/2 tbsp Corn Starch
• 1 tsp Dish Soap
• 1 cup of Water
• Food Colouring
Add the play sand and corn starch together in a bowl and mix well. Add water and dish soap into another bowl and mix until the water is full of bubbles. Add food colouring to the bubbling water. Slowly add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and constantly stir the mixtures together. Repeat the steps to create different coloured kinetic sand.
