DIY Health Tonic: Avo and Basil Smoothie

Avo and Basil Smoothie

Avocados are a good source of Glutathione which is an antioxidant needed for lymphoid cells. Basil has anti-inflammatory properties which protect the body from a variety of diseases.

Ingredients:

• 1 Avocado pear
• 5 Basil leaves
• 5 tbsp Plain Yoghurt
• 1 cup Milk
• 1 Handful of Spinach leaves

Wash your fruits and vegetables. Cut and scoop the avocado into the blender. Add the rest of the ingredients. Blend together. Enjoy chilled.
