DIY Health Tonic: Onion, Honey and Lemon Juice

Onion, Honey and Lemon Juice

Onions are packed with antioxidants and antibacterial properties. Lemons are full on Vitamin C and antioxidants which aid in improving your immune system and help prevent diseases. Honey is also rich in antioxidants and helps to suppress coughs.

Ingredients:

• 2 Chopped Red Onions
• 2 tbsp Honey
• 1 Cup Lemon Juice

Boil the chopped onions on the stove until the onions are absolutely soft. Strain the onion juice and add lemon juice and honey to the mixture. This could be served hot or cold.
