Pink Ginger Smoothie

Ginger has many beneficial effects on the human body, especially during the flu season. It helps relieve body pain, reduce inflammation, fight respiratory issues and helps to strengthen the immune system. Dragon fruit contains high amounts of fibre, vitamin C and antioxidants. It aids in the protection of your blood cells against infection.

Ingredients:

• 1 Large Ginger Root

• 1 Red Dragon Fruit

• 1/2 Cup Lemon Juice

• 2 tbsp Greek Yoghurt

• Honey

Wash and peel the ginger and add to the blender. Chop and scoop out the dragon fruit and add to the blender. Add the other ingredients to the blender and blend together. Add honey to make the smoothie sweet.
