CAPE TOWN- Seven more Covid-19 deaths have been recorded in South Africa bringing the total to 138, while infections now stand at 7220, an increase of 437.
Health minister Zweli Mkhize made the announcement on Monday and was also pleased to report that recoveries have risen to 2746.
Six of the deaths were recorded in the Western Cape and one from KwaZulu-Natal.
A total of 257 541 tests have been conducted to date with 11 794 tests done in the past 24 hours.
