CAPE TOWN – GoDriveIn is a new entertainment venue inspired by retro drive-ins but what makes this one unique is a variety of offerings such as live concerts, movies, standup comedies and food.
The pandemic came with strict physical distancing rules and the prohibition of social venues and activities, but as restrictions ease in the country, many new events look to do things differently with unique approaches in order to maintain good health and safety of their customers.
GoDriveIn looks to open up multiple venues throughout the country and aims to raise funds for AfricaMasks4All which is a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing 1 million face masks to less fortunate communities.
Venues are being prepared in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Pretoria with the food truck roadhouse opening on this Tuesday, 1 September in Salt River, Cape Town with the other entertainment programmes to be announced at a later stage with a variety of day and evening programmes for everyone from adults to children to entire families.
To keep up to date with any announcements regarding the opening of venues or upcoming events, check out GoDriveIn’s Facebook Page.
