CAPE TOWN- South Africa’s Covid-19 death toll has increased by 13, bringing the total to 219, while confirmed cases now stand at 12,074 an increase of 724.
President Cyril Ramaphosa revealed the latest numbers during his address to the nation on Wednesday regarding the possible easing of restrictions in provinces with low infection rates.
Ramaphosa also noted that recorded recoveries are now at 4,745.

This week, our country reached a sad moment in the progression of the coronavirus pandemic, as we recorded our 219th death from the disease.
