Covid-19 infections now 1280, 2nd death reported

CAPE TOWN- South Africa now has 1280 confirmed Covid-19 cases, Health Minister Zweli Mkhize announced on Sunday. Infections increased by 93 from Saturday.

The second Covid-19 related death was also reported.

"The 74 year old male had been in ICU and ventilation in a private hospital in Ladysmith. He had travelled to Kruger National Park with his family and came back with flu like symptoms. He was confirmed to be COVID-19 positive on the 27

March 2020," said Mkhize.
