Waterproofing Shoes

During this pandemic, the Covid-19 virus is able to cling onto all surfaces, including shoes. This simple technique will make it easier to disinfect your shoes without wetting the material.

Materials:

• Beeswax

• Sponge / Cloth

• Hair Dryer

Melt the beeswax in a pot on the stove at medium heat. Once melted, apply the melted beeswax on every visible surface of the shoe. Use the hair dryer on the highest setting, for half a minute to infuse the beeswax and the material of the shoe together. Repeat for the other shoe. Pour water to test if the shoes is water proof.
