Do's and Dont's during covid-19 lockdown

CAPE TOWN - Health Minister Zweli Mkhize announced on Wednesday that South Africa's Covid-19 infections has risen to 709. This comes as a National lockdown scheduled for midnight on Thursday looms.

Many South Africans have been unsure of what the practical restrictions of the lockdown will entail and what they will or will not be able to do during the lock down. Speaking to the SABC, Mkhize said there was still a fair amount of freedom of movement and outlined what was possible for South Africans during the period.

Here's some do's and dont's to remember during lockdown ;

DO's

- Going to the grocery store

- Going to the pharmacy

- Filling petrol

- Get medical attention

- Report a crime or call the police, fire or ambulance service

DONT'S

- Congregate in large numbers

- Inviting friends and family over

- Group social activities

- Non-essential Travel
