DURBAN - The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Education started providing matric lessons via radio and newspapers due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

Radio stations such as Ukhozi FM, Vuma FM, East Coast Radio and Gagasi FM are among the radio stations that have scheduled to broadcast lessons from Monday to Friday at different time slots.

"We have a multi-faceted approach through which we will be live streaming. We will also be on radio for those who don't have data, and newspapers will also carry the study material so we don’t leave out any learners," said Muzi Mahlambi, spokesperson for the KZN Education Department.

The Department of Basic Education’s website also has audio lessons available for students to download and listen to at any time. Click here to select your lesson and download it.

Keep up to date with more information regarding this programme via the KZN Education Department Facebook page and previous lessons as a podcast via Iono FM here.
