Leash Training tips for Cat owners
If you plan on taking your cat on different adventures like a hike or to the beach, then these tips will help you train your cat to get used to wearing a leash during these activities.
1. Familiarise your cat with the harness by placing the harness near and on your cat.
2. Attach the leash to the harness, once the cat is comfortable with the harness, and walk your cat indoors.
3. Take your cat for short walks around your yard or complex.
4. Motivate your cat with treats during each step as they will associate the harness and leash with something positive.
