Protocols for hairdressers and restaurants are ready

Restaurants have been vocal about wanting to fully open up and that could happen soon as part of a move to an advanced level 3 lockdown.

Speaking on a television interview, Minister of Small Business and Development Khumbudzo Ntshavheni said that small businesses such as hairdressers, personal care services, massage therapists and all grooming services would be included.

“When the president announced movement to level 3, he also announced the advanced level 3 which includes sit-down restaurants and the opening up of personal care services,” said Ntshavheni.

“The protocols are out and we are ready with them to open up restaurants, we are just on the medical advisory council,” she said.
