CAPE TOWN -

During the month of August, WildEarth will broadcast live virtual safaris from the Maasai Mara National Reserve.

WildEarth has seen their viewer numbers increase since the start of lockdown, and despite the easing of the level 2 rules, they have shown a sustained interest in online and virtual travel.

“The Great Migration is probably the world's most iconic natural event and WildEarth are privileged to be able to share it with the world once again,” said WildEarth CEO Graham Wallington.

“WildEarth has a camp in the Mara Triangle and will be broadcasting every day from the Mara even after the migration leaves in a month or two. It truly is a spectacular place with magnificent wildlife.”

Close to two million wildebeest, Thomson’s gazelles and zebra migrate from Tanzania into the Maasai Mara during the Great Migration with tourists often watching the river crossings.
