CAPE TOWN -
The failed project to host over 1 000 homeless people at the Strandfontein Sports Ground left many still on the street with the cold winter season quickly approaching.
And, with the current restrictions of the national lockdown, many living on the streets are having difficulty finding a hot meal and shelter during these cold rainy days.
Community Chest CEO Lorenzo Davids decided to step up and invited 180 homeless people as his guest, to sleep inside their offices in Bree Street in Cape Town CBD.
