CAPE TOWN- A team from the Somerset West Night Shelter gave out one thousand bars of soap to people in need around the Helderberg area.
"We had planned to hand the bars of soap out next week, but with the lockdown tomorrow we had to quickly rush and give them out today!" said Jo Swart, Chairperson of the Somerset West Night Shelter.
South Africa heads into a 21-day lockdown at midnight on Thursday.
