CAPE TOWN –

While South Africa has recorded another 345 Covid-19 related death cases and an increase of 4 456 in positive cases, Minister of Health Zweli Mkhize says hospital admissions are declining.

“We have not breached hospital capacity in our provinces despite the surge.

“While we are cautiously optimistic, it is still too early for us to make a definite conclusion regarding the observed decline but we need to continue to track all the indicators to ensure our testing capacity reflects a realistic picture of our status,” said Mkhize.
