3) By now, you have most likely have seen the memes of a group of men dancing with a coffin to a catchy tune. It is a team of Ghanaian pallbearers. Such services are typically used at funerals to lift the spirits of mourners.

4) The eThekwini municipality recently announced that the Durban beachfront promenade would remain closed during level 4 of the national lockdown. After the 8 am announcement, on Saturday, May 2, the municipality issued another statement saying the promenade will be open to the public from May 3 between 6 am and 9 am.

5) While the rest of the country was in level 5 lockdown the Durban Magistrates Court on Somtseu Road had remained open under strict regulations. On Thursday, April 30, a second confirmed case of Covid-19 was recorded at the magistrate’s court.
