CAPE TOWN – South African filmmaker and YouTube sensation, Dan Mace, shares his experience living with the Coronavirus.
Based in Los Angeles, Mace flew back to Cape Town and prepared to get married this past weekend. However, the wedding got postponed after he received the news that he tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.
In his video posted on his YouTube channel, Mace shares his experience of the various symptoms he suffered from the Coronavirus and how doctors were initially unable to diagnose it.
Upon landing in Cape Town, he passed through the screening tests at the Airport undetected and it was only days later that he had a private test done following concerns that he might have picked up the virus.
Mace, who is currently still in Cape Town self-isolating, wanted to create an awareness of how anyone can be affected and why social distancing is important.
