CAPE TOWN -South Africa has recorded 315 more Covid-19 deaths, bringing the total to 7 812, while cases now stand at 482 169.
The total number of tests conducted to date is 2 918 049 with 44 886 new tests conducted in the last 24 hours.
Of the new Covid-19 related deaths, 121 are from Eastern Cape, 96 from Gauteng, 55 from KwaZulu-Natal and 34 from Western Cape.
Health minister Zweli Mkhize said the total number recoveries is 309 601.
