Iron on t-shirt designs

Instead of hanging your child’s art on the fridge, have them wear it. This is a fun and easy task which will give your walls and fridge a break from being an art gallery.

Materials:

• Wax Crayons

• Fine Sandpaper / Cardboard

• White t-shirt

• Iron

• Paper

• Paper towels

Get your child to produce their art on the sandpaper. When they are done, place the sandpaper on the t-shirt. Place a sheet of paper on top of the sandpaper and iron the design for 30 seconds. Lift an edge of the sandpaper to check if the design had transferred onto the t-shirt. Remove the sandpaper and iron a sheet of paper towel to remove any excess wax. Let the t-shirt sit for 20 minutes for the design to set.
