CAPE TOWN -

Virgin Active finally reopened their doors to members, however, chief marketing officer Nikki Cockcroft said they’re disappointed with the 50-person limit.

“Fitness enthusiasts are very excited to be back and we look forward to welcoming them back, said Cockcroft.

“During the last five months we’ve spaced our equipment and we’ve put in all the cleaning and hygiene protocols.

“I think that it’s important that we understand the role that exercise has to play in keeping people fit and healthy.

“To stay within the limits that the government introduced, we’ve introduced a booking and screening system. We’ve retrained our staff on the cleaning protocols, how to deal with new types of conflict and how to manage the space with social distancing,” she said.
