This comes after Dube-Ncube said she was concerned that there were some establishments that continue to accept travellers from some countries regarded as high-risk.

She said that the province was considering several measures to contain the outbreak -including a travel ban.

"Travellers from 10 high-risk countries are unfortunately not welcome in KZN until the ban is lifted by a proclamation. The list is in line with risk rating of the World Health Organisation," said Dube-Ncube.

The following countries are regarded as high risk ;

1. United States of America

2. Iran

3. South Korea

4. United Kingdom

5. Spain

6. Switzerland

7. China

8. France

9. Germany

10. Italy

"We urge stakeholders to adhere to the travel regulations which are intended to curb the spread and ultimately ensure the safety of the people of this province," said Dube-Ncube.
