NBA resumes at Disney World

NBA fans can look forward to seeing their favourite stars again as the season resumes inside Disney World’s ESPN Wide World of Sports complex.

The league’s board and players union approved a 22-team eight-game round-up to the 2019-20 regular season which starts on July 31, followed by the playoffs.

The ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex has multiple arenas that could host games simultaneously. The 255-acre campus previously hosted the Jr. NBA World Championship and ESPN is one of the NBA’s broadcast partners is owned by Disney.

Meanwhile, teams will continue to train at their own facilities and will be flown to Orlando three weeks prior to the start where they will all be quarantined for some time.
