Salary cuts for cabinet, donated to solidarity fund -Ramaphosa

CAPE TOWN- President Cyril Ramaphosa announced that he, the deputy president and all the members of Cabinet will take a one third pay cut for the next three months.

This money will be donated to the Solidarity Fund.

Ramaphosa made the announcement from the Union Buildings in Pretoria on Thursday evening.

South Africa’s national lockdown will be extended by two weeks, until the end of April.
