DURBAN – The Covid-19 mass screening was underway today (Wednesday) in Westcliff, Chatsworth, and law officials ensured a smooth operation.
The South African Police Service, Metropolitan Police, Road Traffic Police, South African Defence Force and the Kwazulu-Natal Department of Health were all in attendance monitoring the operation.
According to a journalist on scene, all of the officials who were working looked calm and well-composed. The journalist said residents being screened also complied with the officials and welcomed the imposition.
