CAPE TOWN- Covid-19 infections in South Africa have increased by 165, bringing the total to 3465.
Health minister Zweli Mkhize made the announcement at a press briefing held in the Eastern Cape on Tuesday.
Mkhize said the Eastern Cape has seen a rapid rise in the number of cases. He said the biggest risk of spread identified in the Eastern Cape was the cultural practices at funerals.
Meanwhile, the death toll still stands at 58.
